NEW USERS :pac:
If you want to join this discussion forum, then you must send a message to:
info@tronanews.us
Otherwise, I will not be able to identify your request as legitimate. I literally get approximately 2000 spam requests a week to join this forum. I cannot sift through that many requests and successfully identify legitimate requests. So, please send an email message to me alerting me of your USERNAME and I will be sure to activate your account. Sorry for the inconvenience, but spam producers (human or otherwise) leave me little choice.

BTW, make up a fake email account so you can hide your identity. That's what I did!

Between your sunglasses and your fake email account, I'm sure you'll be able to remain incognito!

Due to the exceptionally high volume of spam account requests it is STILL necessary to email the address above if you want an account on this message board. Just sign up as usual, BUT make sure you send me an email containing the username you signed up with. This will make it easy for me go through the list and activate your account. Also if you have forgotten your password, send an email to the address above to let me know that you have forgotten your password and I'll send you a new password. It's that easy!!!
:thumb:
(Well, it's almost that easy. If you need me to reset your password, you'll have to send me the message with the email account you used to sign up on this board in the first place. Otherwise, anyone could request that anyone's password be changed!!! LOL)

The problem is that I can't remember the password to the fake email account I created so I could sign up! It's a good thing I can recall my password to this account! Otherwise I'd be SOL! I really need to do a better job of writing things down!!!

Two of my friends say that they've tried to get accounts at this forum, but that they're accounts haven't been activated yet. Both of them claim that they sent the email to the address shown at the beginning of this topic, but nothing has happened. Either they got the address wrong or the administrator of this forum isn't doing a good job of administrating!

What about confining new users to a specific part of the forum till they have manually made a couple of posts to prove they are actually a human being?

I have activated all accounts for which I received a corresponding email which was sent to the address listed above. I check that email account daily.

The problem is that this board receives over 1000 account requests per week. Here is what some of the typical usernames that I get look like:
ljdedseyropgg, kfdsfsdegb, pasyaercec, ljdedseyrognq, ljdedseyrosir, lhjjkgoktu, Roosoreorry, Detweemocok, ASINGISONY, Wessnodyenven, Updarerah, qiutaonv, BreevOronezes, AAsseleLesy, Erromoticip, lkgdggonzn, OnegreedarM, ltdfdrfdorni, elopayfal, RitsAssighdug, lvbcffdovxy, TheopsseS, Vetatriadlere, xiyyrjnh, Kayankino, Scootbabiva, Parpspamp, Chopcecrearia, BroardSopylor, werfvggpes, Matadubs, Sherlecekem, ThodoTiva, peeeryrwreqqrovpu, prersbiarma, Quarsepeabbap, wgcvbfhgjod, fsgjhhfrnrw, Buyviagraonline, ViorryNic, pasyaerjtl, ethithMinfuri, extrarost, preeleFouxupt, pasyaerfyo, ltdfdrfdoonm, ljdedseyrorjs, rnegfvggzbe, ljdedseyrozdj, MiwkaDiam, Weinlyneisy, ljdedseyrorar, aidesespeeway, VagTaulpMug, lddshgffdomkb, ljdedseyroivw, ljdedseyrofle, pumaziq, xvfcdggvno, ceqbjbcp, halibeauple, ljseyroqrf, PravdaYa, Tefeshuch, AJerexcInc

It's probably not a good idea to burden the database with thousands of spam accounts. I've seen forums that restrict new users until they are fully activated, but that still requires that the database carry thousands of spam accounts between prunings.

I just followed directions and sent an email to the address listed above. It worked fine for me!

Worked for me too! It took a couple days, but my account has now been activated as you can see. Now I need to set up an avatar. Anyone know where I can find a pic of an Escape Trail sign? That'll be the perfect avatar for me!
