'Watters' World' investigates 'toxic masculinity'
There are toxic people, but a term like "toxic masculinity" creates the impression that women are somehow exempt. The blame game can feel good while you're doing it, but it merely masks the real, underlying problems. Women can be and are every bit as toxic as men. Individuals of both genders are equally susceptible.

Why the 'Pink Tax' has women seeing red :roll2:
The usual whining over imaginary inequality. Women's clothes cost more because women want more frills and they are pickier about style than men. Same goes for everything else. There's no real issue here. It's just another lame excuse to whine over nothing!

Google accused of gender discrimination
A company like Google pays people what they're worth. You don't pay someone you have on staff to satisfy gender equality demands the same you pay someone who is legitimately a world class innovator. To do otherwise is to risk a mass exodus of the innovators who would then go off and create a company that would out-compete Google. Is the NFL, NBA, or MLB required to have a certain number of women on each team? Programming/coding skills are very much like sports skills.

There was a video on The Young Turks about the so-called pay gap. It was a crappy video, but the young lady in the video whined incessantly about the mythical pay gap and never once acknowledged that almost all technological innovation in the past decades is the result of the work of men. Of course, people who develop new technology are going to be paid more and if almost all of them happen to be men then it will seem as if there is a pay gap even though the amounts paid to individuals of both genders is fair in light of what they contribute. Feminazis seem incapable of admitting this undeniable truth.

The pay gap is total crap. When you take into account talent, educational attainment, willingness to travel and work overtime, and a bunch of other fairly obvious factors, it becomes extremely clear that people are paid according to their worth for the most part and that gender has nothing to do with it. That's not to say that there aren't people who are under-paid, just that gender is not a factor.

Fired Engineer James Damore: I Feel Google Betrayed Me
Damore will ultimately win a huge settlement and hopefully he will also have an impact on undermining the politically correct echo chamber which has developed which makes it possible for the stupidity such as his firing to be possible in the first place.

Google’s Ideological Echo Chamber
Rather than firing this guy, they should have made him head of the company! This is a brilliant analysis of the current problems that undermine progress in tech companies in general!
Our focus on microaggressions and other unintentional transgressions increases our sensitivity, which is not universally positive: sensitivity increases both our tendency to take offence and our self censorship, leading to authoritarian policies. Speaking up without the fear of being harshly judged is central to psychological safety, but these practices can remove that safety by judging unintentional transgressions.

Microaggression training incorrectly and dangerously equates speech with violence and isn’t backed by evidence.
