sandman: Exactly! I don't care if it was the Russians, the Chinese, the Mongolians, or some nerd living in his parent's basement. All I want to see is Hillary put on trial and thrown in jail.

CIA Prepares For Cyberwar With Russia
This guy explains the current situation pretty succinctly and the irony is that a Nobel Peace Prize winner may wind up starting WWIII.

CIA preparing cyberattacks against Russia
There is no evidence that links Russia to the hacking of the DNC server or the WikiLeaks documents. Nonetheless there are lots of accusations. Is it just political drama to motivate gullible voters into supporting the Hildawg or are our leaders actually completely insane?

Meet Fancy Bear
This article is full of holes big enough to drive a tank through. Hackers deliberately set metadata in order to misled. It's easy and no hacker would overlook something so incredibly obvious.
Meanwhile, metadata in the docs, such as Russian-language settings and software versions popular in Russia, led cybersecurity experts to believe that not only were the emails leaked by Russia, but that Guccifer 2.0 was an account created by the Russian state to try and deflect attention.

You're right about the article. It was obviously written by a computer illiterate journalist. Metadata is used to mislead and IP addresses are also used to misled. At the level of elite hackers they can do whatever they want with this type of data. They can make an attack appear to come from anywhere and they can manipulate the metadata so that the hacker appears to be anyone. Trump is probably right about the hacker being a four hundred pound bum living in his parents' basement. Even low level hackers can easily download sophisticated tools that automate many of the standard tricks used by elite hackers. Due to poor security, even a fourteen-year-old newbie could have infiltrated the DNC server and pretty much everyone is aware of WikiLeaks. Nothing about the hack points to any particular group of hackers. It was low hanging fruit that anyone could have picked.

None of the claims that the Russians hacked the DNC hold water. In order for it to be so either the Russians are complete dunderheads or they on purpose made it easy to identify them. Neither explanation makes sense. As has already been stated even script kiddies could have hacked the DNC server without leaving a trace.

Before the invasion of Iraq there was plenty of propaganda about Iraq's supposed biological weapons and the beginning of a nuclear weapons program. That was an obvious lie to begin with, but the majority of the news-watching public bought it hook, line, and sinker. It's no different with this Russian hacking propaganda. Even most supposedly informed people who regularly watch the news are braindead. They have no ability to recognize the bullshit and they are easily fooled by even the most obvious tricks and distractions.

NBC Happily Parrots The CIA's Case For Escalating Cyber War With Russia
This Russia is hacking us BS is probably just cheap theatrics:
if you understand that the NSA and its army of private contractors are covertly probing and attacking countless nations day in and day out (allies and enemies alike), the very idea that we'd announce this single counterattack via god-damned NBC should strike you as transparently theatrical and a bit silly

But if it was Russia, then they must have WANTED us to know it was them:
We've noted repeatedly how this is stupid for a multitude of reasons, since hacking "proof" is (if the hacker's any good) impossible to come by, with false-flag operations consistently common.

And if such is the case, then they are baiting us into something stupid, which Obama and company seem far to prone to do even without provocation!

Russia is being portrayed as an enemy more as a political ploy than anything else. Obama and his cronies are doing the old Evil Empire routine that worked so well for Reagan. The problem is that Russia is not the USSR. Many Americans realize that Russia had nothing to do with the hacking and that the USA has been working hard to antagonize Russia. The amazing thing is how level-headed Putin has remained during all this. While our leaders run around like raving idiots making all sorts of absurd and crazy accusations, he's just being taking care of business making huge deals with major players like China and India. One way or the other the USA is being outmaneuvered.

WIKILEAKS 16: Hillary Clinton Told Private Email Server Might Have Been Hacked By China or GOP
Anyone who believes that it was Russia just because the press says so is so gullible that it's pathetic. It's all just a scam to distract voters from the contents of the email messages. Smoke and mirrors and nothing more. Don't buy Clinton's bullshit!
