The ALT-RIGHT

Alt-right leader: 'Hail Trump!'
This news clip misrepresents the ALT-Right a bit. This Nazi salute stuff is not what I associate with the ALT-Right. Not that I'm part of the movement, but I think it is disingenuous on the part of CNN to present clips from a meeting of a Nazi group and assert that the clips provide an accurate portrayal of what the ALT-Right movement is all about. Of course, this begs the question: What are the core beliefs of members of the ALT-Right movement?

Fallacy of Composition
I'm not a subscriber to the Alt-Right either, but I really don't appreciate the smear tactics employed by CNN in videos like this. CNN does this sort of "reporting" quite often, which is exactly why many people no longer have any confidence whatsoever in CNN as a reliable news source. Fox used to be blasted for biased reporting, but now Fox is seen as much more fair (and balanced) than CNN. To be clear, CNN is not the only media news source guilty of this sort of biased "reporting," but they are especially prolific when it comes to producing propagandistic/fake/misleading/biased news.
Inferring that something is true of the whole from the fact that it is true of some part of the whole. EXAMPLE: Each brick in that building weighs less than a pound. Therefore, the building weighs less than a pound.

What Is the Alt-Right?
This guy does a pretty good job of defining the philosophical foundation of the alt-right. A lot of what he says flies in the face of liberal orthodoxy, but there is a certain intellectual honesty about the concerns he raises. The sad thing is that it's impossible to be both politically correct and intellectually honest at the same time.

Alt Right - The new Hippies
RamZPaul has posted a bunch of videos pertaining to the Alt-Right. This one is pretty good although some of his other videos might be even better. "What a long strange trip it's been!"

Hence the popularity of Trump. Many people are sick and tired of political correctness and being shamed for attempting to have intellectually honest discussions about social issues.

An Honest Look at the Alt Right
This guy lays it out there like a college professor in thirty minutes. No ranting or preaching, just the facts, thank you very much. His sober conclusion: THERE WILL BE DARK DAYS AHEAD. This was posted in March of 2016 and seems to be consistent with events since then.

This guy seems a slight bit fruity, but he makes a bunch of really good points.

This video is almost fun, but what's really funny are all the thumbs down it's received.

Confused by Post-Truth & Alt-Right?
Official dictionary definitions might not accurately portray the words as used, but may have more to do with the point of view of those employed by the publishing companies.

New word in political vocabulary? ‘Alt-right’ used for right-wingers now refers to Trump supporters
Basket of deplorables? Alt-Right? What does it all mean?
