Russian Government to Allocate $1.5 Bln to Highway in Crimea
It makes sense to improve transportation infrastructure between Crimea and the rest of Russia. It would be an even better idea to annex eastern Ukraine! :thumb:
(Okay, so I'm joking, but not completely. I think the people who live in east Ukraine would have a better life if they didn't have to deal with the hotheads in Kiev.)
The Russian government has decided to allocate 100 billion rubles ($1.5 billion) to building a highway connecting the capital of Crimea, Simferopol, to the town of Kerch, the Slon news website reported Monday. The highway, named Tavrida, is set to be opened by 2020.

Trump to Russia: Find Clinton's emails
Several sources are attempting to twist Trump's words into an invitation for Russia to commit illegal espionage in order to find the missing emails, but at this point all the illegal hacking has been done and the emails are out there somewhere. What Trump is asking for is someone to come forward with the emails and to share them with the public. It would be quite fortuitous if the emails were to be made available to the public sometime around the middle of October.

Krauthammer is right. If the emails Hilary refused to turn over are nothing more than her personal emails then no espionage would be committed. You can't have it both ways. Which is it Hilary?

Russia scholar Stephen Cohen shuts down CNN shill host who tries to link Trump to Putin
Russian Scholar Stephen Cohen says Donald Trump is being wrongly linked to Putin and criticized because he's trying to end the new Cold War.

Obama, Hillary, and Kerry are completely responsible for the development of this new Cold War. Russian has continuously sought to cooperate with the USA on a number of issues and the USA has simply refused. Now we have the new McCarthyism being pushed by Hillary in attempt to make Trump look bad. All because he has the gall to question the wisdom of engaging in this new Cold War!

Cohen is absolutely correct when he says that the American people deserve to hear open and honest discussion about our failed policies with Russia. Clinton (along with Obama and Kerry) has only driven a wedge between our two countries and the media is full of empty accusations and weak rumors regarding the intentions of Russia. It would be nice to actually have a real discussion instead of this anti-Russian propaganda that we've been fed the last several years!

Why Cold War Again?: How America Lost Post-Soviet Russia
Apparently he's in the middle of writing it. The release date isn't until January 2017. So all you can do is pre-order the book at this point. The problem is that a lot can happen between now and then!
The new East-West conflict, which broke out over the Ukrainian crisis in 2014, but which long predated it and soon spread through Europe and to the Middle East, is potentially the worst US-Russian confrontation in more than fifty years― and the most fateful. A negotiated resolution is possible, but time may be running out. In this book, renowned Russia scholar and media commentator Stephen F. Cohen traces the history of this East-West relationship in the 'Inter Cold War' period― the years from the purported end of the preceding Cold War, in 1990-1991, to what he has long argued would be a new and even more dangerous Cold War. Cohen's historical and contemporary analysis is insightful, thought-provoking and essential reading for anyone seeking to understand relations between the West and post-Soviet Russia.

Napolitano: Why would the NSA hack the DNC?
So it looks like it wasn't the Russians after all. This poses a bit of a problem for Hillary and the rest of the liars trying to use the Russians as a scapegoat.

Putin: the West has no morals
Interesting comments by Putin and the person who posted this video:
That which is “freedom” to a liberal, is offensive to a more conservative state of mind. They are two irreconcilable world views. I don’t believe there is a right or wrong, but there are as many opinions on this subject as there are people in the world. However, it is true that many Russians hold Western values in contempt, and resist being subjugated to them. Deserved or not, the West is often perceived as a faithless and individualistic society with an exceptional love of money.

Another bout of hysteria: CNN blames Russian hackers for NYT breach
More bogus claims completely unsubstantiated by any actual evidence. Why is the corporate media pushing this false narrative?

‘Cynical, immoral, inhumane’ – Putin on Russian Paralympic ban
Putin just telling like it is. It's good to know that there is a world leader with integrity who will speak the truth and speak up for the rights of those who are mistreated. Our leaders here in the USA are all worthless liars who kiss the ass of corporations and cheat the people every chance they get. Putin at least stands up for what's right.
