AOL users have no expectation of privacy - Court
If you're going to trade illegal material online do two things:
1) Don't use AOL or any other service provider that screens your email or other posts.
2) Modify the material so that its hashtag doesn't match the hashtag of existing files which are known to be illegal.
Additionally encryption is a good idea and using various services which hide your identity or guarantee privacy or anonymity are also a good idea. I'm not advocating the trade of illegal material, but I do believe that individuals should make informed and intelligent decisions about what they do online. Anyone who believes in the importance of the Fourth Amendment should not use services such as AOL.
