Trump Official Rephrases Emma Lazarus’s Plaque on the Statue of Liberty to Justify a New Immigration Policy
Image

Where Emma Lazarus’s “The New Colossus” offered unconditional welcome, proclaiming, “Give me your tired, your poor/ Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free/ The wretched refuse of your teeming shore,” Cuccinelli, the acting head of Citizenship and Immigration Services, offered a revision when asked by NPR if the lines of the poem were “part of the American ethos.”

“They certainly are—give me your tired and your poor who can stand on their own two feet and who will not become a public charge,” said Cuccinelli, who was on Morning Edition to discuss a new “public charge” rule that would make it more difficult for immigrants who have used public benefits such as Medicaid, food stamps, and Section 8 housing to qualify for a green card. The new regulation is slated to go into effect 60 days from Monday. (It does not appear that Cuccinelli was actually proposing a rewrite to the physical plaque, but his words quickly went viral.)

Trump wants to shift FEMA money to immigration
He wants a long wall and he wants it painted black. Sounds like a Rolling Stones song to me. Oh, yes, and he wants spiky things on top!

The Trumptards won bigtime today. The libtards couldn't have made themselves look much stupider!

LEWANDOWSKI: I really enjoyed his responses. The libtards were ridiculously and openly hostile and he gave it right straight back at him only he did it with a fair amount of humor. That one lady though.... SO STUPID! SO DAMN STUPID!!!

Gutfeld on Dems' 'Field of Dreams' impeachment strategy
It's the next episode in The Impeachment Show. How many times have the dems said that they had discovered (manufactured) an impeachable offense only to have their dreams fade away into nothingness?

Trump has said some outlandish things before, but this might be the most blatantly offensive thing he's ever said while delivering a speech in public. I'm not saying that what he said isn't true, but he did go out of his way to be rather mean about it. Clearly, he has every right to be angry about the bogus impeachment process that the democrats are initiating and he might even be justified in berating them over that entire debacle, but his rhetoric has become increasingly crass throughout his stint as president.

Joe Biden vs. Joe Biden
Trump used the word lynching in reference to the current impeachment activities. The democrats are saying that they are outraged by the use of the term lynching. The problem for them is that they used the same term in reference to the impeachment proceedings against Clinton. Either it's alright to use the word or it's not alright to use the word. You can't have it both ways!
