Clear and mesh backpacks have been around for a couple decades. Many kids like them and don't have any objections to using them. They're a good idea since it makes it less likely that handguns or knives will be brought to school.

Not to mention drugs and other items which should not be brought to school.

FBI gets involved in alarming trend hitting schools nationwide
Can't blame this one on the books! Maybe it can be blamed on phones, but really it just comes down to people with bad judgement!

Virginia authorities say 6-year-old intentionally shot teacher, taken into custody
Although there was only one victim in this school shooting, it's strange that the kid was only six years old and so it's hard to say if we can blame it on the books since he probably couldn't really read. It's very strange that such a young child would do something like this. Whoever furnished the gun is going to be in big trouble!

Six-Year-Old Shooter Case
This sounds like the kind of thing that could happen in Trona. Incompetent administration combined with lots of guns in the community sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Here's What's Really Going On
The media wants certain people to get blamed for mass shootings, but reality doesn't conform to their agenda.

The Boomtown Rats. I Don't Like Mondays.
I just learned the story behind this song a little while ago: Brenda Spencer (16 years old at the time) opened fire on Cleveland Elementary School in San Diego on January 29, 1979. The principal and a custodian were killed; eight children and a police officer were injured. A reporter asked Spencer why she committed the crime. She reportedly answered: "I don't like Mondays. This livens up the day", which inspired Bob Geldof and Johnnie Fingers to write the Boomtown Rats song "I Don't Like Mondays".

Nashville Police MUST release the shooter’s manifesto
Other manifestos have been released and so this one should also be made available to the public.
