"The Land That God Had Forsaken"
Most of this video looks like it was shot near Furnace Creek. Lots of good wildlife shots at the end.

Furnace Creek Resort
Here's some info about lodging at Furnace Creek.
The Furnace Creek Resort is situated in a lush oasis surrounded by the vast and arid desert of Death Valley National Park, California – just 120 miles northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada and 275 miles northeast of Los Angeles, California.

So I've heard bits and pieces of news about upgrades being done to the hotel at Furnace Creek and something about a name change to the Oasis. Not thinking the name change was such a great idea since Furnace Creek is much more historical and the Oasis sounds like something you'd find on the Las Vegas Strip. Also Oasis just sounds generally cheesey and commercial and not really consistent with the ideals of a national park or the great outdoors.
Would you walk a mile for me?
