4Runner TRD Pro: So anyone know what the largest tires are that can be used with this car without voiding the warranty? If it'll take 35 inch tires then I'm interested. Otherwise not so much!

BallaratBob: I can guarantee it will be something under 31 inches. Car manufacturers ignore the need to accommodate larger tires and the EPA requires them to sell energy efficient vehicles. Large tires reduce fuel efficiency and so it's not likely you'll ever see a stock mass-manufactured, street legal, consumer vehicle that'll accommodate 35 inch tires. I think the largest tires that'll work on a stock vehicle are 32 inches on the most expensive Jeep Wrangler Rubicons.

I know a 33" will fit a FJC easy and with a little work 35" will get in there.I think with a little research 33" will be your tire.

Toyota FJ Cruiser: I don't think that a stock FJC will take anything above 30 inches without some kind of lift. The larger tires will rub on tight turns unless the lift is applied. I could be wrong, but I seriously doubt that I am. Stock vehicles just aren't built to accommodate larger tires and IMHO this is a serious problem.

With all respect 33" fit FJC simply. I have lived it and bumped uped to 35" after simple chop at body mount.

Forget 4x4! It's time to move up to 6x6! Has anyone actually seen one of these in use?

Why not 8x8? The more the merrier right? I'm sure the tire companies would welcome the increase in tire sales if vehicles like this caught on. I wonder if the increased risk of a flat tire is offset by the slight improvement in ability in certain types of terrain.

Total Chaos is a great name, but is it really as good as this video makes it appear to be?

It would be mighty handy to have a wife who could work on the car, cook up some tasty vittles, and look this good all at the same time! (BTW, vittles is actually spelled victuals, but who the hell would actually spell it that way?)
