Epic Fail (off-road) :4x4:
Just because you own a 4x4 doesn't mean you can go anywhere!

Cactus Jack: It might not mean that they actually can go anywhere, but that doesn't mean they're not going to try! It's called the spirit of adventure. It's the challenge of doing what ordinary people are afraid to even try. Sometimes you fail, but that's just a learning experience. You make a few adjustments and try again!

jeepnut: There's a difference between a calculated risk and being just plain stupid. I agree that sometimes people make blunders or are unlucky even when properly prepared, but most of the accidents in the video I posted can be attributed to pure stupidity.

Cactus Jack: It's hard to be sure about what's in the video. We don't know what the experience level or degree of preparation went into any of those examples. Some of them did look pretty stupid, but others appeared to be experienced drivers attempting difficult maneuvers and some were risky stunts where the drivers knew what they were getting into.

Witness the excellence of the two-man Sherp ATV
Here's another one that probably won't be available in the USA anytime soon!

'To the East': SHERP off-road vehicles begin a 10,000 km transcontinental expedition
Probably these are ideal for certain types of terrain, but they might be a little awkward in other situations. Most likely not capable of traveling at highway speeds. A few design changes, though, and they might be better than anything currently available to civilians here in the USA.
