School District Gets Bulletproof Whiteboards
This is less of a news report and more of a sales pitch. I'm skeptical as to the actual value of these whiteboards. I'm sure they're bulletproof, etc. But they are incredibly unlikely to actually save any lives in any real world situation. But that's not the important thing! They'll make a ton of money for the company that sells them and that's what really counts after all! Monetizing tragedy seems to be the American way!!! Administrators and school boards will insist on purchasing these items and the public will receive a false sense of security (in exchange for wasted public funds) and someone makes a lot of money off a crackpot idea.

It must be a good idea if it's going to a lot of money for the company. That's all that really counts. Right?

Too Young For Sex Ed? :sun:
The Germans are a little extreme when it comes to sex education for very young kids. What seems outrageous from the perspective of people raised in one culture, seems quite normal to people raised in another culture. The Young Turks get a little silly (as usual), but at least the discussion is entertaining. It's funny that what is quite normal and reasonable in Germany would get a teacher fired in the USA. People are such irrational creatures!

Outrageous - Girl Faces FELONY for Science Experiment 'Bomb'
A great example of the school-to-prison pipeline and how our society has turned into a police state. The two main Turks do a good job of discussing this horrendously stupid miscarriage of justice! The idiots in charge are at it again!

LCFF for Trona Joint Unified
This channel has hundreds of videos that are exactly the same except for a 5 second insert individualized for each school district.
The information is sort of interesting, but the redundancy of the videos is ridiculous!!!

Bikini Model Teacher 'Too Hot to Teach' :curse:
This teacher should have fought to keep her job just as a matter of principle. It's the pruds who would fire a teacher over something like this that should be eliminated! Narrow-minded pruds are what is wrong with education in this country. They have too much control over what happens at schools. When we conform the way we do things to the least common denominator (religious conservatives who want to dictate how others should behave) we sell ourselves short. People should be free to do what they want in their personal lives and people who wish to limit our freedoms are a disease!

Absolutely! Couldn't have said it any better myself. It's sad that we are always forced to conform to the standards of prudish people. Prudish people hold everyone back and limit everyone's potential. Unfortunately the rest of us are too complacent. We should rise up and put the pruds in their proper place!
