Too Much? German schools plan to teach 'sexual diversity', parents outraged
Sex education is one thing, but lifestyle education is a little more controversial. But as long as parents can opt out of the classes, it's not that big of a deal. On the flip side, it's unlikely that the kids are likely to be adversely impacted by lifestyle education. It's the parents who get all bent out of shape. Just the same the parents should be able to decide if their children participate in this sort of thing... unless of course their children engage in bullying or taunting of children who come from alternate lifestyle families. In that case we're not simply dealing with a disciplinary issue, but more of a dysfunctional family issue which requires some kind of remediation of both the parents and the children.
