Digital Rights Group To Google: The Kids Are Not All Right To Track - Newsy
If you scratch below the surface, you'll also find that Apple is another company accused of tracking student activity and so schools that use Apple products including iPads and iCloud should have also been mentioned in this news clip.

The Truth Behind Rising Autism Rates
It's just a change in the categorization system, not an actual increase in the rate of birth defects.

CactusHugger: Nice post! A lot of people have concocted all sorts of crazy theories to explain a change that doesn't actually even exist. All that happened is that the categorization scheme was altered which on paper made it appear as if some kind of major shift had occurred. It's funny how people jump to crazy conclusions without checking the facts. I suppose we're all guilty of that from time to time, which come to think of it is why it's so easy for the media to manipulate us. They feed us a set of facts, but leave out crucial information knowing all along that we will reach an incorrect conclusion (which moves their agenda forward) unless we have all the facts.

I thought they had already done away with NCLB. I thought it was replaced with something called Race To The Top. Also I thought Common Core was a replacement for RTTT. So now they're saying that NCLB never really went away? I'm confused!

Hour of Code introduces students to tech world
This is a great way to get kids interested in skills that could lead to high-paying careers. Our education system has dropped the ball in a lot of ways, but technology has been the biggest failure of all. Most of the time students use computers as glorified worksheets, to take automated tests, or for making slideshows. That's supposed to be effective use of technology? Seriously?
