National School Walkout The actual number of deaths caused by school shootings is incredibly low compared to just about any other cause of death that can be imagined.
The main reason teachers are underpaid is because the majority of teachers are women. If teaching was a field dominated by men, then they'd be paid a lot more. Just another example of how society discriminates against women. The wage gap isn't really an issues within most fields, but when you compare different fields there is a wage gap.
Teachers are underpaid compared to other professions which require the same level of education. It's also true that teaching is a profession with a high female-to-male ratio. That fact undoubtedly has contributed to the lower salaries. It makes sense that within a profession that there would be not much of a wage gap, but between professions it would be easier for that type of a situation to develop.
Florida high school resource officer under investigation Controversial takedown caught on camera! Female student causing trouble on campus refuses to cooperate and winds up getting slammed onto the ground! The resource officer followed protocol. The girl refused to cooperate. The rest is history... And be sure not to miss the little blurb by George Snuffleupagus at the end!
MojaveMike: Yes, that faceplant was pretty impressive. It could have been part of a professional wrestling event and it's definitely meme-worthy. Can't wait to see the videos of the girl's face repeatedly impacting the floor! She got what she asked for! No doubt about it!
shadylady: The msm seems mostly to take the side of the girl although there are plenty who realize that she provoked the incident and got what she asked for. It would be nice if the msm actually held people like her responsible for the incidents they provoke at least some of the time! But for the msm it's all about an agenda and a narrow-minded narrative.
wildrose: I thought that Common Core was all about alternate algorithms? Isn't being able to tell time two ways basically exactly what they want? Why would they even consider dropping telling time with analog clocks from the curriculum? I agree with you. We've already lowered the bar way too much!
