People bring this idea up all the time, but nothing ever gets done. California is a dysfunctional state and San Bernardino County is about as dysfunctional as most counties in California. Inyo would be an improvement and being part of Nevada would be even better. But I'm afraid we're stuck. Not likely anything will change anytime soon!

The idea makes too much sense and everyone knows making sense is not allowed in SB county! Highway 395 should have been dealt with decades ago, but do the idiots running the county do anything? But I suppose that's the point. We need to get the hell out of SB county! It would be a substantial bonus to get the hell out of CA, but that's not likely to happen!
