dingleberry: I've eaten lots of berries for breakfast, but never a dingleberry. In fact, I'm not completely certain that's even a real berry. Looking that up on the urban dictionary I see a rather disgusting meaning for the word. Ha ha. Very funny... sicko!

I've always been a sugar addict when it comes to breakfast. Fruit Loops, Sugar Frosted Flakes, Apple Jacks, Capn Crunch, Cocoa Pebbles, Trix, Lucky Charms, Golden Grahams, Cookie Crisp, etc. I eat less of this junk than I used to, but I always have a box or two in the cupboard! I also eat more donuts than I should, but I'm cutting back on those too. I'm trying to listen to Dr. Gregor and I'm making progress, but eating healthy is a struggle for me.

I've been experimenting with quinoa lately. It's good with just about anything. It's lighter on my stomach than oatmeal and tastes just as good. Brown sugar, almonds, berries, raisons, cinnamon, sliced bananas, apples, and just about anything else works well with quinoa. I recommend it as a quick and easy alternative to oatmeal.

I learned how to make natto and have been having it for breakfast. It's not too much harder to make than yogurt.

Yogurt, granola, and fruit has been my breakfast for a few decades now. I've changed the brands of yogurt and granola a few times, but it's been more or less the same thing except for special occasions for a real long time.

deathvalleyjake: You sound like a creature of habit. I think most of us develop patterns that work for us over the long run. Some would call it a rut and others would call it being productive. I suppose habits can go either way.

I know a guy who claims to have eaten a tuna sandwich for lunch every workday for twenty years. Talk about a creature of habit. I know that I'm a little off-topic talking about lunch instead of breakfast, but I'd imagine that this guy had a breakfast routine too which he just didn't happen to tell me about.

Consider it enough food for a day (or maybe even a week) in a single meal!

Today Is National Waffle Day
It looks like National Waffle Day was yesterday, but don't let that stop you from enjoying waffles today, tomorrow, or the next day!
