There's no excuse for such stupid training tactics. I've heard that local schools have had some active shooter training, but hopefully it wasn't this ALICE training nonsense. It's really exasperating to hear about companies like this which put together ill-considered programs just to make a buck!

Stupid people fall for stupid scams. This ALICE training crap sounds like the typical kind of thing that school administrators lap up like there's no tomorrow. In reality it's a pool of vomit on the floor, but tell an administrator it's pudding and he's down on his knees and he just can't get enough!

shadylady: Harsh, but true. People are willing to buy into almost any program that provides false hope and this ALICE bullshit has false hope written all over it.

No doubt that there are lots of people in most types of organizations who are too quick to buy into lots of programs which make false claims. Humans are often too eager to believe almost any too-good-to-be-true kind of scam out there. That's why so many suckers get scammed in the first place!

Move the A from ALICE to the end of BS and you get BSA LICE TRAINING. In that case we'd be talking about the Boy Scouts of America providing instruction to scouts on how to avoid getting lice. Probably much more useful than this ALICE crap!

This program seems like it was formed to benefit sadistic instructors who get off on going around shooting people with plastic projectiles. Join a paint ball club guys! Oh wait you gotta get shot with paintball pellets if you do that!
