Rabbits in the Garden!
Like this guy says at the end of the video, "Rabbit stew sounds pretty good to me!"

Spoiler Alert! That was one vigilant bird of prey! It really is just as well seeing as rabbits can do a lot of damage as attested to in this thread topic!

I suppose that the situation is sad and unfortunate if you look at it from the perspective of the cute little bunny, but I bet the plants in the neighborhood were cheering when the bird swooped down and eliminated at least one ravenous rabbit!

Oh, the irony! To have something like this happen after working so hard to help the little bunny! It's amazing that they caught it all on video. It's almost like it was staged. I wonder if they have a friend who trains birds of prey!

Short of killing rabbits, the best you can do is plug all the holes in your fence and get some rabbit spray. The spray smells kind of strange and somewhat citrus-like, but it does work as a weak repellant providing that the rabbits have alternatives. In a dry year alternatives are few and far between and so the spray may not do much more than make the rabbit enjoy eating your plants slightly less.

wildrose: Funny video. I checked it out at YouTube and it sounds like blackturtle has decided to use plants that rabbits don't like as his main strategy to deal with the little varmits!
