How about a common sense based diet? Coffee and doughnuts is a plant based diet and fried cheese and charred meat is a carnivorous one. Both extremely unhealthy. A true paleo diet based on what our ancestors ate during paleo times was more plants than meat but contained both.

Plant-based diets make a lot of sense, but you hear about this type of situation far too often!

surfsteve: Not to be critical, but that's a long video and without a little info, it's hard to see why I should bother watching it based on the topic alone. I know that some foods are healthier cooked and that raw food diets can be hard on the digestive system. What does this lady have to say that's different from what everyone else has to say?

The most informative video on raw food I've ever watched. Wit the exception of the beginning introduction I don't think it could be condensed and still be as informative. She does a good job of explaining why certain beliefs are the way they are and what the science and original sources say about the people that quoted them.

Like most people I don't have time to watch the entire video posted by surfsteve, but I did pop around and I listened to short segments of the video. Nothing I heard the lady say was new and everything I heard her say was in line with what Dr. Gregor says in his nutritionfacts.org videos. The advantage of Dr. Gregor is that he keeps his videos down to about four minutes or less. That makes it a lot easier to find topical info!
