If it's not about plants, but it is about the natural environment of Death Valley, then this is the place to post your info or question.

How One Man Unlocked The Sound Of The Desert
Apparently the desert is more musically inclined than we would have expected it to be...

Man survives 45 hours stranded in the Arizona desert after his car breaks down
When exploring the desert always be prepared for a breakdown... and don't explore jeep roads with a car not built for serious off-roading.

What Is Sea Level, Anyway?
Don't get too excited flat-Earthers, but the Earth isn't exactly a sphere. BTW, Calipatria is the lowest CITY in California, but Bad Water is the lowest point in California. So far no one has plans to build a city at Bad Water and even if they did, the NPS would nip that idea in the bud before the plans could get off the drawing board!

desertrat: Only the people in Calipatria would care about their city being the lowest city in California. The only thing that matters is the location of the lowest geographical point in California. Regardless of any picky details about how spherical the Earth may or may not be, those variations aren't going to take Calipatria down below Bad Water and so the guy in the video is just yacking on about nothing of much interest at all.

Thousands flock to California City this weekend :4x4:
They call it "glamping" which is short for glamorous camping... or so they say!
