Snake sighting increasing in Kern County This seems to be their most active time of year and so keep an eye open for these dangerous little fellas!

Lots of rattlesnakes spotted in the valleys of Searles and Panamint recently. I've heard plenty of stories and while I wouldn't say that there have been more sightings than usual, I would say that I usually don't hear about so many in such a short time. So, keep careful watch for these venomous biters!

Lowly Serpent I meant to post this a couple weeks ago, but kept forgetting. Anyways, I get a kick out of some of the videos that BTS posts. I wouldn't describe myself as a fan, but I am mildly amused!

Rattlesnake Sightings, Bites Spike In California Most of these sightings are down south. Haven't heard about any kind of "spike" up here, but that doesn't mean it ain't happening!

Woman finds large rattlesnake in truck engine I've heard that having a lot of horses under the hood is a good thing, but I don't think that rule applies to snakes!

The time for rattlesnakes to emerge from hibernation has arrived. I haven't seen any, but a friend said he had an encounter with one the other day.

More rattlesnakes are expected this season due to the winter rain Rattlesnake season is ramping up and with all the rain we got this winter, they'll have plenty to eat.
