Is Environmentalism Rooted In Evil? :wtf:
I'm not much when it comes to logic and debate, but I think the conclusion that environmentalism is rooted in evil is based on a logical fallacy of some kind. Just because some people who support environmentalism are associated in some way with other things that are actually evil, doesn't make environmentalism evil.

Genetic Fallacy
For some reason I was thinking the fallacy was called ad hominem, but that's actually somewhat different, but similar since the focus is on who not what and when we think logically the who of an issue seldom is relevant.
The genetic fallacy, also known as fallacy of origins, fallacy of virtue, is a fallacy of irrelevance where a conclusion is suggested based solely on something or someone's origin rather than its current meaning or context. This overlooks any difference to be found in the present situation, typically transferring the positive or negative esteem from the earlier context.

Environmentalism is rooted in politics, which is rooted in evil.

Environmentalism is not evil, but there are fanatics and there are those who use it as a tool to manipulate policy makers. The fanatics take things to the extreme and alienate normal people who care about the environment, but who aren't totally kooks. Politicians sometimes twist environmental causes around for their own gain or for the gain of whatever company has bought them off. But sane and honest environmentalists just want to keep the environment in good shape and there's nothing wrong with that!

Terrorism by another name? MSM struggles with coverage of armed protesters in Oregon
This relates to the BLM situation in Oregon, but the guy being interviewed wrote a book called "Green is the New Red" and that's of greater interest and is why I post this video to this thread.

World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated every year on June Fifth to promote positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet Earth. It was established by the United Nations in 1972. The first host city was Spokane in 1974, but since then it's mostly been hosted in other countries.

Can A Circular Economy Make Trash Obsolete?
This sounds like a good idea in some ways, but way too complicated in other ways.
