Atlanta Boosts Private Cameras for Public Safety :scared:
No matter where you go you are being watched. Surveillance is a way of life. Even in the middle of nowhere the BLM and the park service may have hidden cameras to keep track of people. It's an invasion of privacy as far as I'm concerned, but it's all done in the name of public safety and law and order!

Under the Microscope: Mass surveillance on rise in US after Boston attack
Everywhere you go someone's watching! I'm sure that even out in the middle of nowhere that either the BLM, the park service, or the forest service have hidden cameras to keep track of people traveling through their domains. I wonder how China Lake monitors the base perimeter, especially the portions in remote locations.

How the CIA Tried to Use Cats as Spies :scared:
Talk about getting sneaky! They may not have been able to do it in the 1960s, but they'd probably be able to do it now! It's pretty bad when you can't even trust your own pet!

The average cell phone probably has easily 10 times the surveillance technology as that cat did. Maybe they should try putting a cell phone inside a cat! Has anybody seen my pussy phone?

I just ordered some more of these cameras from ebay last night for my surveillance systems.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/271149197373?ss ... 1497.l2649

These cost only 3 dollars more than our old cameras but they have over twice the day light resolution and the night vision on them is the best I've ever seen. Over ten times that of our old cameras. It almost looks like daylight out there when it is pitch black to the naked eye. They cost less than 30 dollars but out perform many of the cameras costing over $150.

Which suggests yet another place that a surveillance device could be hidden!

Hidden? What do you mean? They are built right in. All they have to do is turn on the camera and the microphone any time they want to. Cellphones and computers come with built in surveillance.

Can't you just pull the battery and take care of that problem?

How are you supposed to use it with no battery?

Private Firm Wants Your Info in a Huge Database
Collecting private information and storing it in a database should be illegal. On top of that, selling the information should be even more illegal. If anyone sells my info, I feel that they owe me every penny that they made as a result of that transaction. Might be an interesting lawsuit and if enough people file such lawsuits it'll bankrupt the company. Not a bad idea!
