How rural areas deal with bad or no internet
The internet should be considered a right at this point and the government should guarantee high speed internet at a reasonable price to everyone throughout the country.

I heard that Starlink or SpaceX launched almost fifty satellites a month or two ago and that all but four or five of them malfunctioned and are useless space junk. They blamed it on a solar storm or something, but whatever was the reason it was a huge set back and will mean longer waits for people signed up and waiting for their equipment.

STARLINK: Everything I've heard is long wait times and empty promises. I know people who have been waiting for over nine months who were supposed to have the equipment within six months! Elon Musk is ambitious, but he's not coming through and keeping his promises.

torn80: I've heard about more and more people getting it. They say it's easy to set up and fast. There's still a waiting list, but they're moving through the list faster these days or so they say.

deathvalleyjake: I've heard mostly good things and other than the long waiting list it's mostly good for the most part. For that matter, I've mostly decided that I'll eventually sign up!
