Cracking Open - Amazon Echo :alien:
According to Amazon this thing can do a lot of things, but it costs $180. I won't be buying one of these anytime soon.
Alexa—the brain behind Echo—is built in the cloud, so it is always getting smarter. The more you use Echo, the more it adapts to your speech patterns, vocabulary, and personal preferences. And because Echo is always connected, updates are delivered automatically.

Cloud-connected Roomba sucks (in a good way)
Way too expensive, but it definitely beats the heck out of actually vacuuming! :dizzy:

What Is The Internet Of Things?
So far my gadgets aren't talking with each other, but it looks like they will be doing so in the future. It's not clear to me what a blender would need to say to a garage door opener, but I'm sure they'll have many interesting conversations in upcoming years!

Pixel C convertible tablet runs Android
I totally love this little tablet. Actually it's the way the keyboard "hinge" works that's so awesome and the fact that it runs Android is pretty cool too.

CactusHugger: Love that magnetic hinge. That's the coolest tablet I've seen yet. Also love the fact that it's not Windows. I'll go with Android or Mac anyday over anything that has anything to do with Windows. Not that I'm a hater or anything. I just have my preferences!

Asus Chromebit is the least-expensive stick PC yet
This is pretty awesome and it's only $85. If done on a mass scale it would be incredibly inexpensive to include this functionality as a standard feature of each and every television made. I expect that this (or something more or less equivalent) will become standard in TV screens in just a few years.

The price-tracking trick retailers don't want you to know about
This is one way to make sure you don't pay too much for the gadgets and gizmos you purchase. It's likely to only save you $20 here and there, but considering the number of gadgets most of us buy nowadays, that can add up to a fair amount of cash pretty quickly!
