The BuzzFeed article which called for the censorship of Soph may have gotten a video or two of hers banned on YouTube, but her subscriber count has gone way up to almost a million and she has received a ton of attention on other platforms. They call it the Streisand effect....

The Streisand effect is a phenomenon whereby an attempt to hide, remove, or censor a piece of information has the unintended consequence of publicizing the information more widely, usually facilitated by the Internet.

In fact, according to SocialBlade ( https://socialblade.com/youtube/channel/UCT7BLBDnD-wEXeqZSg24aJw ) she gained +69,414 on Tuesday (May 14), +30,253 on Wednesday (May 15), and +23,667 on Thursday (May 16). She lost -1,364,418 views when YouTube took down the video linked to by MrGreen, but she's gained about that many views on other videos in the days leading up to and following the take down. Reportedly she is suspended from doing anything on her YouTube channel for a week or two and YouTube may delete her channel completely, but that just gives her time to develop her presence on other platforms.
