Many people try to argue that YouTube and Facebook are private companies and so they can do anything they want to do. That's simply not true. They cannot discriminate against individuals based on political affiliation. Once they cross that line they have violated that person's human rights. They can design all sorts of rules about hate speech or fake news intended to obscure this reality, but the bottom line is that discrimination is discrimination just like a pig is still a pig despite the application of some lipstick.

Big Tech's coordinated attack on free speech
If standards were used evenly against people from all political perspectives, then that would at least be fair. However, what we have here is the selective use of standards to go after only people who represent certain politically incorrect perspectives. That's discriminatory and that's where the legal problems begin.

Great thread!

I never cared for Alex Jones but banning him is akin to banning free speech and hurts us all.

They're Coming For Me Next
Closing some channels and demonetizing other channels definitely stifles free speech. There can be no doubt about that. So, yes, I agree that this is a case of discrimination, but I think it's also a free speech issue despite the claim that private companies are not bound by the First Amendment. I believe they are when they become virtual monopolies controlling the exchange of information.

American college applicant questioned about following Alex Jones’ Twitter
Colleges should not be looking at the social media accounts of applicants. The same goes for employers and job applicants. Political discrimination is still discrimination.

Are You Ready for the Purge?
Many people seem to be blissfully unaware, but this is a serious move by the Corporate States of America to usurp the USA.

Twitter says InfoWars did violate its policy :roll2:
Looks like Twitter is starting to cave to corporate media pressure. They're starting to "see" reasons to ban InfoWars.
