CRISPR more powerful than ever
Many applications for this technology which could improve our lives in many ways. It will be interesting to see where this goes in the next decade or two.

Progress being made. Maybe eventually this becomes a viable treatment for various maladies.

Which isn't to say that obesity is genetically DETERMINED, but obviously genetics does play a role.

Maybe they could use this CRISPR technology to attack and disable the virus. The virus must have a weak point in its genome and if it's an RNA-based genome, then it seems that it could be attacked without risking human DNA-based genome damage. Just a thought from someone who hasn't taken a biology class in decades! LOL
