Triumph Of The Nerds: HR people don't appreciate nerds because HR people don't think that way. HR people are high in loyalty and conformity and group think. Nerds on the other hand are all about ideas and they have no time for airheads who follow convention like it's something worth giving a crap about. That's why nerds innovate and conventional thinkers stagnate.

MojaveMike: The type of person who becomes an HR person is full of half-witted platitudes. They tell you to look on the positive side of life or to have a growth orientation or to be open to change or to look at obstacles as challenges or any number of shallow dim-witted truisms that are so inane that only a truly stupid person would take them seriously.

desertrat: Motivational speakers are like that too and motivational speakers are an insult to anyone with an IQ over about 110. The rubbish they spew may strike an emotional chord with dullards, but the simplemindedness of their rhetoric is simultaneously amusing and disgusting to anyone with above average intelligence.

Russia’s Artificial Intelligence push: Companies develop tech without overseas help
The part where people help the robot through a snowdrift is kind of funny. :dizzy:
