Parents warn about potentially deadly 'Momo Challenge' online :roll2:
This video is just a couple days old and it has over 4.5 million views. People are freaking out over this hoax. I would have posted this under the Moral Panics thread, but a new thread seems justified IMHO.

"Momo challenge" frightens kids, worries parents
Here's another video that has amassed over 1.3 million views in a single day. The "Momo Challenge" is basically an urban legend, but many people take the hoax seriously.

Who’s Behind the ‘Momo Challenge’?
People familiar with 4chan will understand the dark sense of humor fueling this hoax. Others will take it literally and believe that it's for real. Generally those with low IQs will fall for hoaxes like this and believe that they're for real. People with high IQs recognize hoaxes almost effortlessly and are perplexed by the stupidity of those who take them seriously.

mrgreen: I think you're right about IQ. Elsewhere on this message board it has been observed that media corporations mostly target low IQ types since that's an easy audience to keep involved with BS stories. Smarter people see through the BS and intelligent people aren't usually fooled for long. Besides most people with high IQs stay busy with work or interesting projects. Low IQ types need to be entertained or kept occupied with games or something they can obsess over.

Is the "Momo Challenge" real?
This sounds fake to me, but some people I know think it's for real. It sounds more like something a dark version of The Onion would do than something to take seriously and so I doubt that it's real, but others seem to be totally convinced. Most likely they're just gullible...

Schools & parents panic over ‘Momo Challenge’ :smack:
Just goes to show you the stupidity of the people running schools. Obvious hoax, but they're sending out official letters!

School officials like to say that they often err on the side of safety, but the truth is that they err on the side of stupidity way too often. Rather than feeding the flames of hysteria, schools should encourange intelligent analysis. So, any warnings should be tempered with a strong assertion that this whole Momo Challenge is most likely a hoax.

So many people nowadays ain't got an ounce of sense. I suppose that has always been true, but it's been getting worse and worse. Take everything with a grain of salt, don't jump to conclusions and don't let your emotions get the best of you. Seems simple enough!

Why cucks believe that the OK Hand Sign is Not OK and the cucks at Blizzard Got it Right
This cuck defends the OK hand sign ban with a straight face. Why can he do this without laughing about the stupidity of such a ban? Because he's a cuck!!!! Oh, and by the way, this video has 52K thumbs down votes and only 3K thumbs up votes. Good to see that cucks are the minority.
