Official: 27 Dead in Conn. School Shooting
At this point I don't think authorities have determined if there is one or two shooters. As for previous comments, I don't think there is a simple answer. I agree that this country is morally bankrupt and that we have committed attrocities around the world and that perhaps some of that is coming back to haunt us, but I don't think that alone provides an explanation for this kind of an event.

Connecticut school shooting: America's worst school shootings
Wow! I must have forgotten all about this one:
March 24, 1998: Mitchell Johnson, 13, and Andrew Golden, 11, pulled a fire alarm and began shooting as everyone exited a school in Jonesboro, Arkansas, killing four students and one teacher and injuring nine others.

Legally Make your own Gun.
This guy claims that is you make it yourself, you don't have to register it. He says that registration is required only during transfer of ownership. What a wonderful way to exercise your second amendment rights!

Bob Costas Gives a Gun Control Sermon
Funny stuff!!! Great story about 10-year-old school kids in southern Indiana who took their rifles to school only a couple generations ago! :thumb:

Gun Control Debate - 3 Dead in Portland Mall Shooting
Gun control ain't the solution. It's about treating people fair. Guys go nuts when they've been pushed too far. There's something about the vindictive and competitive nature of our culture that pushes people to extremes. That's the problem.

Hear police audio during mall shooting
It's a good thing that the gun jammed! Two innocent victims is a tragedy, but with the equipment this guy had it could have been a whole lot more!

List of attacks related to primary schools
This is a LONG list of attacks at elementary schools all around the world. The first one on the list took place on July 26, 1764 in Pennsylvania. As far as body counts go there was one in Michigan on May 18, 1927 with 45 dead and 58 injured. Another in Egypt on April 8, 1970 with 46 dead and over 50 injured. The record goes to North Ossetia on September 1, 2004 with 386 dead. China has a surprisingly large number of these attacks, although not as many as the good ole USA! Interestingly there was an attack there today as well.
