Are These The Fattest of the 50 States?
It's nice to see that California was on the list of the states with the lowest rates of obesity, but what's with the southeastern states?

Chicago Gym for the Overweight Only
Seems kind of exclusionary, but then again maybe it wouldn't be so great to workout in a gym filled with chunkers unless of course you're a chunky individual. And another thing, what happens if a fat person looses all the weight? Do they get kicked out?

Obese kids banned from Boy Scout outing
It seems like common sense that you wouldn't want over-weight kids participating in strenuous activities and BMI is one of the clearest signs that a kid is not in shape for such activity. If the scouts didn't do this they'd probably be sued for allowing these kids to participate. The idiots on CNN want their cake and they want to eat it too. It's not up to scouts to accommodate fat kids, it's up to fat kids to get into shape so they can participate.

Obese Boy Scouts Banned From Strenuous Activity Because It Could Kill Them!!! :smack:
TYT are totally wrong on this one. In fact, most of the comments left in response to this stupid video show that people in their audience have way more common sense than they do!
"If your BMI is over 40, you would be considered very obese (known as "morbidly obese")" This isn't discrimination, it's litigation management. Anyone who tries to take kids with a BMI over 40 hiking up mountains is going to end up with dead kids at some point. TYT shouldn't be bleating about how unfair it is not to let these kids go to a jamboree, they should be asking why the parents of these kids aren't being prosecuted for child abuse."

One of the people who left a comment said that Mexico is now NUMBER ONE and that the USA has slipped to the number two spot! How could this happen? I don't think that people in the USA are getting any less obese. In fact, I'm sure it's getting worse here, but apparently the fat asses south of the border are chowing down with even greater intensity!
:wtf:
I gave this video a :thumb:

mrgreen: I'm pretty sure that North America is going to sink and be covered up by the oceans. Between the USA and Mexico there are more fat asses on this continent than just about anywhere else. in the world! China and India may beat us when it comes to the total number of people in their countries, but we have them beat when it comes to total combined weight of all the people in our countries!
