Facebook's Instagram Stories now more popular than Snapchat
Lots of different ways to share. Personally, I don't trust Facebook much.

Facebook conducts research to target vulnerable teens
Sentiment analysis sounds like an extension of normal advertising research to me. It's just that it results in the ability to serve up ads in real time according to users' moods as indicated by their posts. I wonder how it does with sarcasm...

Do you still Yahoo? :pac:
With the backing of Verizon, Yahoo might have a chance for a comeback!

twister: I haven't been to Yahoo in years. I have a friend who has a Yahoo.com email address, but that's about as far as it goes. I tried Bing for a while, but for me most of my searches and email go through Google. I recall how CompuServe and AOL were big about 15-20 years ago, but it looks like Facebook took over that market. I suppose actually the progression was CompuServe/AOL to MySpace and then to Facebook, but you don't hear much about MySpace anymore.

Getting Zuck'd & Why Facebook is in Terminal Decline
Facebook isn't really cool anymore and it hasn't really been cool for several years, but will it go the way of MySpace? Possibly, but that's far from a certainty. As for Zuckerburg, he means well, but he's not a great thinker, just a lucky tech guy who had the same idea as dozens of other tech guys except he just happened to start his social media platform at the right time and at the right place.

The ‘HQ Trivia’ Phenomenon
Interactive game shows in which tons of people can participate. Not an original idea, but something that would take a lot of work to coordinate and make work.

Parents, Experts Disturbed By Some Content Found On Popular Lip-Syncing App Musical.ly
Kids do crazy things. Some of them need help. All this was true before there was any kind of social media.
So, stop acting like this is anything new! :roll2:

Why you keep using Facebook, even if you hate it
People are quitting facebook in droves! It's like the new social media trend right now. Perfect opportunity for someone else to offer a similar service without all the drawbacks!

6-Year-Old Explains How Messed Up It Is That Her Entire Life Has Been Put On Facebook
Funny monologue that makes a valid point. It's one thing when parents pimp pics of their kids for Facebook likes, but it's even worse when parents make videos which include their kids in order to make money. On the other hand, maybe the melodrama is a bit overdone. I'm undecided at this point and am in no hurry to make up my mind.

McDaniel: 'Shadow banning' is only happening to Republicans
It's been known for a long time that Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook limit exposure of conservative content.
