Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senescence
This is a framework for undoing the effects of the aging process. By fighting elements in each category it is hoped that the effects of aging can be undone in the same way that cars are maintained through a combination of techniques which undo the effects of normal wear and tear on the fluids and parts, etc.
De Grey defines aging as "the set of accumulated side effects from metabolism that eventually kills us", and, more specifically, as follows: "a collection of cumulative changes to the molecular and cellular structure of an adult organism, which result in essential metabolic processes, but which also, once they progress far enough, increasingly disrupt metabolism, resulting in pathology and death." He adds: "geriatrics is the attempt to stop damage from causing pathology; traditional gerontology is the attempt to stop metabolism from causing damage; and the SENS (engineering) approach is to eliminate the damage periodically, so keeping its abundance below the level that causes any pathology."

The Seven Deadly SENS
Here's the list:
1) RepleniSENS - Stem cells and tissue engineering. Cell loss, tissue atrophy
2) OncoSENS - Removal of telomere-lengthening machinery. Cancerous cells
3) MitoSENS - Allotopic expression of 13 proteins. Mitochondrial mutations
4) ApoptoSENS - Targeted ablation. Death-resistant cells
5) GlycoSENS - AGE-breaking molecules; tissue engineering. Extracellular matrix stiffening
6) AmyloSENS - Immunotherapeutic clearance. Extracellular aggregates
7) LysoSENS - Novel lysosomal hydrolases. Intracellular aggregates

Aubrey de Grey donates $13 million of his own wealth to SENS life extension
It's the combination of all seven strategies which could lead to vastly extended lifespan. Each single strategy has only negligible impact. It's as if someone took really good care of the tires on their car, but never bothered changing the oil...
Q – Which of your SENS strategies would success achieve the most additional healthy years?

AdG: No one strategy would achieve very much on its own – certainly not as much as ten years, probably not even five.

Healing from Within: The Promise of Regenerative Medicine
Here they talk about developing a regenerative medicine toolkit which can be used to a wide variety of patients. The problem is the development of this toolkit seems to be taking a long time and some of us don't have all that long before we'll something from that toolkit.

Introducing Lipogems : regenerative medicine
This is also an interesting technology. During the video I thought they were saying parasites at first and only later found out they were saying pericytes. Also, MSC stands for Mesenchymal Stem Cell

Aubrey de Grey: For a Long Life, Listen to Your Body
Interesting advice. It sounds like although he doesn't go to the doctor very often, he does have access to biometric tests which give him a lot of info that normal people would only be able to get through their doctor!
