CrustyOldFart: Your technique sounds just like mine! If they were an endangered species, I might do the catch and release thing, but there are plenty of rattlers in dem thar hills!

Snake sighting increasing in Kern County
This seems to be their most active time of year and so keep an eye open for these dangerous little fellas!

Lots of rattlesnakes spotted in the valleys of Searles and Panamint recently. I've heard plenty of stories and while I wouldn't say that there have been more sightings than usual, I would say that I usually don't hear about so many in such a short time. So, keep careful watch for these venomous biters!

Lowly Serpent :dizzy:
I meant to post this a couple weeks ago, but kept forgetting. Anyways, I get a kick out of some of the videos that BTS posts. I wouldn't describe myself as a fan, but I am mildly amused!

Rattlesnake Sightings, Bites Spike In California
Most of these sightings are down south. Haven't heard about any kind of "spike" up here, but that doesn't mean it ain't happening!

Woman finds large rattlesnake in truck engine
I've heard that having a lot of horses under the hood is a good thing, but I don't think that rule applies to snakes!
