Adpocalypse 2 & the CREEP that started it! #DramaAlert (RANT) UPDATE: Disney & Fortnite pulls Ads!
Following up on the video ShadyLady posted to the Moral Panics thread. The guy in that video is a total fraud. As they often say, he who complains the loudest is often the most guilty! That being said KeemStar (DramaAlert) is known to be a drama queen and probably doesn't like another YouTuber being more of a drama queen than him!

Concerns Over Kids' Safety After Report That Pedophiles Use YouTube To Find Videos
This news clip talks about inappropriate comments left after videos featuring small children. Anyone with any brains at all knows that trolls do that kind of thing for the lulz. Real life pedos may happen upon some of these videos, but they're very unlikely to leave comments. Teenagers who want to scare little kids are the ones who actually do that sort of thing. YouTube has had several moral panics over pedos over the years and by now it should be clear that we're getting into moral panic land when we obsess over this kind of thing.

Man sentenced to 20 years in federal prison in deadly 'swatting' case
This is online gaming drama and not actually YouTube drama, but it's still the same kind of thing. My understanding is that the game in question was Call Of Duty.

T-Series Court Order Sees “Abusive, Vulgar, Racist” PewDiePie Diss Tracks Blocked In India
Sarcasm is often lost in translation and the culture of India might not be very sophisticated when it comes to that sort of thing. What clearly is meant as harmless jest might seem to the culturally illiterate to be a verbal attack. Even within our own culture there are those who lack the ability to appreciate sarcasm and irony and so it's not surprising that that kind of thing might go right over the heads of overly sensitive people in another country with very different and much less evolved cultural traditions.
The YouTuber (whose real name is Felix Kjellberg) has seen his T-Series diss tracks “Bitch Lasagna” and “Congratulations” blocked in India after T-Series filed a complaint with the High Court of Delhi. The complaint alleged the tracks are part of an effort on Kjellberg’s part to defame T-Series and reclaim his crown as most-subscribed-to creator on YouTube. In the ruling court justice Jayant Nath sided with T-Series, writing that the tracks are “abusive, vulgar and also racist in nature.”

Bitch Lasagna
Filing a legal complaint just proves this line to be true: "Look at T-Series, they're just crying for their mama!"

CONGRATULATIONS
On the surface it would seem that he's congratulating T-Series, but he pretty much tears them apart in the process. Incredibly witty lyrics:
Now you're at number one, hope you did nothing wrong
Like starting your business by selling pirated songs
Oops! Didn't think we'd see? It's right there on Wikipedia
Get used to your past being held against you by the media

dilbert: I think that there are a lot of people who might be offended by your assertion that the cultural traditions of India are less evolved than ours, but I say the proof is in the pudding. India's traditions may go back much further than ours, but they stopped seriously evolving a long time ago. They've stagnated and failed to flourish while our nation has grown in many ways never seen before on this planet. Obviously many people in the USA are way behind the curve and although Felix Kjellberg is not from the USA he certainly appreciates the kind of verbal humor which is popular here. In fact, judging by his diss tracks he is a master of that kind of humor.

I'm not really all that into YouTube pop culture, but damn those two diss tracks are incredibly witty. There are some major zingers in both of the songs. Filing a cease and desist request based on either of those songs is something that only a very stupid person would do.

Investigation launched after drugging claim at YouTube star's party
Jake Paul is a dipshit. Hopefully he gets deplatformed and winds up in prison for a couple decades!

mrgreen: Jake Paul is a waste of oxygen, but the same can be said about half of the so-called YouTube celebrities. There's a lot of good stuff on YouTube, but there is even more crap. YouTube promotes the most worthless content while burying the good stuff.
