Russia Tips The Grand Chess Board
Any halfwit who thought that the sanctions against Russia would work has his/her head stuck so far up the ass of stupidity that they probably don't even have a clue just how embarrassed they should be. Jew-merica's tactics won't work and ultimately will lead to its downfall. The politicians here in the USA are like foolish children compared with Putin and Obama is the most immature brat of the bunch. What a bunch of fools!

Obama is an idiot and he handled everything about Ukraine in exactly the wrong way. What worries me is that Obama might start feeling desperate and he might make moves to esculate the situation in Ukraine. Obama is just immature and childish enough to do something like that and so the sooner he's out of office the better. The problem is that I don't think that we have any competent individuals running for the presidency and so it looks like the USA is in for a long downward slide. That's if we're lucky because the the alternative is a swift and unceremonious flush into the sewer.

Speech at military parade on Red Square in Moscow to mark the 70th anniversary of Victory in the 1941–1945 Great Patriotic War.
Bro Nathanael included an excerpt from a speech Putin delivered May 9th in commemoration of the victory over Nazi Germany. The Kremlin has been kind enough to provide the full transcript for the speech in Russian as well as English.

ENGLISH:
However, in the last decades, the basic principles of international cooperation have come to be increasingly ignored. These are the principles that have been hard won by mankind as a result of the ordeal of the war.

We saw attempts to establish a unipolar world. We see the strong-arm block thinking gaining momentum. All that undermines sustainable global development.

It's not surprising that Russia came out on top considering who's running our country. Like Putin says, strong-arm tactics tend to backfire, especially when used against a Judo master.

I read part of an article a while ago that implied a comparison between Putin and the leader of South Korea and suggested that each had a cult of personality. The writer whined about the exhibition hockey match that Putin recently participated in and did his best to discredit Putin. The Jewish owned press seems so deadset and desperate to do anything it can to make Putin look bad. It makes you wonder. But if anyone had a cult of personality it was Obama at the beginning of his first term as president. There are still a few hardcore cult members left, but now even the Jewish owned press ain't banging that drum!

A comparison between Obama and the guy from South Korea seems reasonable, but Putin is in an entirely different class. He is a leader of historical significance whereas the other two are just jokes.

Putin scares some people and he impresses other people. It might just be the case that he is a leader of historic significance, only time will tell. Most reasonable people would agree that Obama is a joke and that awarding him with a Nobel Prize did nothing, but ruin the reputation of the organization that gave the award.

wildrose: What scares me is that an idiot like Obama can even be elected president. Not that any of his opponents were any better, but it sure seems that we have an awful lot of ineffective politicians who do anything but the will of the people. At least Russia is fortunate enough to have a competent leader, which is a lot more than we've been able to say for decades!

Close Call Between American and Russian Military Planes
No mention of where this happened. It seems to me that's an important detail to leave out.

Vladimir Putin on France and Europe: “NATO Member States have Renounced their Sovereignty”
The USA has collected a bunch of lap dogs and now those poor pathetic creatures can't escape. They are stuck in a state of servility and must do what their master tells them to do.
As you know, the modern world, especially the Western world, is highly monopolised and many Western countries – whether they want to hear this or not – have voluntarily given up a considerable part of their sovereignty. To some extent, this is a result of the politics of blocs. Sometimes we find it very difficult to come to terms with them on geopolitical issues. It is hard to reach an agreement with people who whisper even at home for fear of being overheard by the Americans. This is not a joke or a figure of speech
